Ages 10-18. How well do you know your sweets? Participants will identify candies in a blindfold taste test. Registration Required
Back the Boo Police Department Trunk-or-Treat
Get your Halloween costume ready and make plans to fill up your candy bag during a trunk-or-treat event at the Police Department on Monday, October 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Come enjoy: Trick-or-Treat, Photo Ops with Officers, Free Hotdogs, Halloween Safety Tips. It will be an un-boo-lievably good time!

Come in your costume and get ready for some spoOoOoky excitement! Miss Tina will guide us through a frightfully fun Halloween craft that they'll get to take home. It's a perfect start to Halloween!
Gouge a Gourd at Mahoney State Park
Do pumpkin guts drive you nuts? Check out your pumpkin target precision as you learn how to use the primitive spear throwing device called an atlatl at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park. Who needs foam targets when we’ve got fall pumpkins? Meet behind the Bur Oak Shelter. This activity is free and open to anyone age six or older. A valid Nebraska state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.

Looking for a night of fun, laughter, and maybe a little friendly competition? Look no further than Trivia Night at Midtown Crossing, in partnership with Spielbound! Bring your brainiest friends and enjoy a night of trivia right here in midtown Omaha. Topics run from Halloween to board games, pizza to current events – and everything in between. Visit the Treehouse Classroom at Schramm State Recreation Area this Halloween for Halloween-themed activities and learn about why bats, spiders and owls are not as spooky as some people say they are.

Join for Falloween, La Vista’s festive twist on the traditional Halloween Safe Night! Held outdoors at the La Vista Community Center, this fun-filled event is perfect for families and kids of all ages. Enjoy the hayrack ride, photo ops, games and activities. Fill up on a free walking taco for dinner, and take home a pre-filled Halloween treat bag. Whether you’re dressed in costume or bundled up in your favorite fall sweater, Falloween is the place to start your Halloween night off right.
All About Astronomy at Platte River State Park
Make a constellation, use a star chart to identify seasonal stars, examine a moon globe and compare it to the moon you see in the sky and more. Use what you learn late at night as the stars become visible.
