Opera Omaha’s annual kick-off to the season returns. Spread your picnic blanket, kick off your shoes, and relax as the songs of birds and opera intertwine. This FREE, family-friendly concert, which has become a community favorite, is held at Midtown Crossing’s Turner Park and includes some of opera’s greatest hits.

Annual Community Event with live entertainment midway games and prizes, kids zones, bounce houses, face-painting, vendors, concessions, and more!
World O! Water Festival
World O! Water is a FREE, family festival on Saturday September 6th from 12-4pm at Chalco Hills. The educational event helps all ages learn about water conservation and the important role water plays in our lives. Join in the fun for hands-on science and water activities, games, crafts, and wildlife demonstrations! There will also be face painting, and a free hot dog lunch while supplies last. World O! Hobbit Day
Whether you come from Bag End or beyond the Misty Mountains, adventure awaits! Come anytime between 2 and 4 p.m. to enjoy crafts, activities, and fun for families, adults, and hobbits of all ages inspired by the beloved world of J.R.R. Tolkien. This is a free event for adults and families with children ages 5 and older. All crafts and activities will be available while supplies last.
