With over 450,000 sunflowers overlooking the stunning Elkhorn River bottom, our Flower Festival is a breathtaking celebration of the changing seasons and the beauty of farm life. Alongside sunflowers, guests can explore colorful zinnias and other blooms that make this time of year so special.

Join for this Amazing Sight as Hot Air Balloons take to the sky at the scenic Apple Orchard in Council Bluffs- Will have Live Bands! 6:00 PM – Balloon Flight (weather permitting), 5:30–9:30 PM – Live Music by The Project Architects, ~7:40 PM – Balloon Glow at Dusk (weather permitting). $40 per car – Admission included (only ONE ticket needed per vehicle!)

World O! Water Festival
World O! Water is a fun, annual event for all ages to learn about the important role water plays in our lives and community. Everyone is welcome to this free event including families, youth groups and scout troops, and even your dog! Join in the fun on Saturday, September 12th from 12 noon til 4 pm at Chalco Hills Recreation Area. Enjoy a free hotdog lunch while supplies last.
