The 10th Annual Porchfest OMA is Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 11am to 6pm. The free community festival has over 90 performances that take place on 13 stages in Omaha’s Gifford Park Neighborhood at 33rd & California Street.

Join for games, pumpkin painting, and of course, CHILI! hayrack ride trick or treating will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A $3/vehicle park entry fee or membership is required to enter the park. Free-will donations will be gratefully accepted. This event will be held rain or shine. Please meet at Breezy Lodge.
Look to the skies at Heartwood’s 2nd Annual Kite Festival. Giant show kites flown by professional kite artists will fill the air above the amphitheater in a breathtaking display of color and motion. Guests can learn kite-flying techniques, bring or purchase their own kites, or simply relax and watch the sky come alive. Festival foods and family activities make it a perfect day outdoors.
