The Makerspace has sewing machines! Learn how to use the machine and sew a small project! All materials will be provided. (Colors may vary.). Skills learned: basic sewing & pressing.

Dear T-Rex and other area dinosaurs, you are cordially invited to a tea party at Omaha Public Library, based on the picture book “Tea Rex” by Molly Idle! Refreshments will be served and tea will be hosted by a Tea-Rex wrangler. Bring your favorite stuffed or plastic dinosaur friends to enjoy the party! This is a free event for children ages 5-9. Tea party snacks, beverages, and dinosaur tails to wear during the program will be provided.
Kid Coders is an engaging introduction to the world of coding and computer science class designed specifically for children. Through interactive and hands-on activities, young learners explore the fundamentals of programming languages and computational thinking.
Greg and Rowley are stuck in a room with Rodrick! Can you help them escape? Work together to solve the puzzles and clues based on the best-selling "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book series by Jeff Kinney before time runs out!
There will be three escape room sessions at 1:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. for participants ages 9-12. Try to escape over fall break! Registration is required.

Zines are unique, handmade, hyper-local booklets created by community members that help to quickly spread ideas to other members in the community. Zines promote freedom of speech and expression and can resemble a traditional book with only words or a graphic novel with a mixture of words and pictures.
As you enjoy the sights & sounds along the trail you will spot activities posted along your route that are designed to help learners ages 3 to 5 experience nature in a new way. While it is designed for young learners, any age can learn something new and have fun, too!

Santa’s reindeer are lost inside the Tree Adventure, and we need your help to find them! Join with family and friends in a fun-for-all-ages scavenger hunt to discover where the reindeer are hiding along the Tree House Trail. Then use our special mailbox to send a letter to Santa to let him know where to find his reindeer in time for his Christmas ride!

Children of all ages will enjoy this fun-packed bash with live music from Dino O’Dell and the T-Rex All-Stars, special crafts and activities. Ring in the noon year in your handmade party hat while enjoying the celebratory bubble wrap stomp and a spectacular balloon drop at noon in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall.
