Art in the Park: Plant-it for the Planet: Printing Plantable Postcards
Kiewit Luminarium 345 Riverfront Dr, Omaha, NEIn honor of Earth Day, stop by to decorate postcards and compose an inspiring message based upon this year’s theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” Creators will have the opportunity to work with movable type and earth-themed printing blocks to letterpress print the front of a postcard onto plantable seed paper. Lotus Lantern Craft Workshop
Central Library 7205 Dodge St, Omaha, NEJoin OPL and Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project for a virtual interactive session! There will be a brief presentation on the significance of the lotus flower and the Lotus Lantern Festival, a step-by-step craft session where participants create their own traditional Korean lotus lantern, and a short documentary on Korea to close the event.
