  • America 250: Overland Trails – The Children on the Trail

    With over 352,000 emigrants traveling the Oregon, Mormon or California trails, one in five were under the age of 16. Many of these youth kept journals. Renae Hunt from Humanities Nebraska will discuss how these children traveled and relate some of the stories from their journals. This is a free event for patrons of all ages.
