Dundee is bringing the neighborhood to life with monthly live music in the streets—and you're invited! On the third Saturday evening of each month, from 6–8pm, enjoy the sounds of local talent as we welcome a different Omaha-area musician to perform right in the heart of the neighborhood. Travel back to the 1920s with Murder at the Juice Joint – an old-fashioned whodunnit in the magnificent setting of the Arbor Lodge Mansion. Solve clues, look for evidence, and break the case while mingling with new friends. Participants will receive a character to portray as they arrive at Arbor Lodge Mansion. Dress as a flapper or gangster or select from our props. $35/person. Space is limited.

Janie York from Humanities Nebraska will explore the role our founding mothers played in the American Revolution. Women of the time used their cunning, creativity, and skills with the needle to craft a story of how they supported the military. You’ll meet activists, impersonators, and seamstresses who supported the war effort and in some cases changed its trajectory.
Storm Chasers game. Kids 12 and under can run the bases after the game. Fun for everyone, featuring Wildlife Encounters, face painters, balloon artists, or another fun activity.
Bring a blanket to the park and join us for 30 minutes of dancing fun with Miss Abbey from Motion Works Dance. Most appropriate for kids ages 5 and under and an adult companion. In the event of inclement weather this program will be moved to the Library.

Something went wrong on a paleontology dig, and your team has been transported back to the age of the dinosaurs! You’ll need to work together to solve clues and puzzles hidden in the cave and your field gear to activate the portal device and “return home”. Can you escape the prehistoric world or will you be stuck with the dinosaurs forever? Registration is required.
Old-fashioned summer fun! The Council Bluffs Fire Department hosts hydrant parties on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. throughout the summer at various locations.
Our friends from Omaha Children's Museum are back! We'll explore what happens to molecules when they're put to the test, in this show all about chemical reactions.
This month they are making sew-free pillows! Kids will create their own cozy pillows using fleece and simple tying techniques. Kids will leave with their own personalized pillow to take home! All necessary materials will be provided. This activity is suitable for ages 8+. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Learn some financial literacy in this fun presentation put on by Navy Federal Credit Union. Members of NFCU will be reading the book Just Enough Carrots by Stuart J. Murphy and discussing money basics for elementary age kids.

Jeff Quinn is roaring into our library with "Jurassic Magic", a dinosaur-themed Summer Reading Program magic show that's fun for all ages
Every great adventure needs two things: a hero to save the day and a villain with a clever plan. In this action-packed writing workshop, young writers will invent their own unforgettable heroes and devious villains -- complete with superpowers, weaknesses, secret hideouts, and big personalities. Once the characters are created, students will put them to the test by writing an exciting adventure story where the hero must face the villain's plan. By the end of the class, each student will have the beginning of their own heroic tale! This is a free event for children ages 8-12. Registration is required
