Enjoy an evening soundtrack at the market provided by some of the region’s most talented local musicians. Our Beats & Bites Stage performances feature a rotating lineup of solo acts and crowd favorites bringing everything from acoustic sets to soulful originals and covers. Bring a blanket, grab something delicious from the market or food trucks, and settle in for a relaxed evening of live music under the sky.
Everyone is invited to this block party for bounce houses, bubbles, fire trucks, face painting, games, food trucks, free dessert, and more!  All ages invited. No library card or registration required. Drop in anytime! NOTE: This event takes place at the Gretna Crossing Park West Shelter. Please dress for the weather.  Rain location is Gretna United Methodist Church, 11457 S. 204th St. Activities may be more limited.
All movie nights feature gates opening at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8. Falconwood Park encourages guests to arrive early to participate in themed activities and enjoy food and beverage offerings before each screening begins.

Calling all gamers! Have a blast learning how to code while building robotic games to test your code. You will learn about sequencing commands, value and sensor inputs, and loops. This month you will create a racecar. Registration is required
All activities are free and open to the public, from 11am to 2pm! Native Plant Platform: make a nature bookmark, craft a monarch butterfly, take home native seeds!
This annual event begins with a 5k road race starting in the City Park at 8 am, register in advance to receive a t-shirt or on race day starting at 7 am. The Kinderfest parade down Main Street begins at 11 am. Following the parade, the city park overflows with good old-fashioned fun! A petting zoo and blowups will await the kids. Game booths of all kinds will offer prizes: ring toss, duck races, basketball, cornhole, paddle wheel and more. Where Everyone is a Winner! Lots of food choices including: pulled pork, brisket, brats, burgers, walking tacos and home-made pie!

Become the best babysitter you can be! Training will include a babysitting guidebook, basic first aid, and age-appropriate practices for caring for infants, preschoolers, toddlers, and school age youth. The clinic is taught by Nebraska 4-H Extension staff. This is a free program for ages 11 and up. Registration is requiredÂ
We might need a bigger boat…or at least a bigger bingo card! Bring your friends or family to celebrate Shark Week with bingo. No prior knowledge of sharks is required to enjoy the game. This is a free event for adults and children ages 5 and older. Registration is required.
Challenge your creative boundaries in this Art Workshop for teens! Instructor Shawnequa Linder will introduce surrealism and encourage teens to use their imaginations to go beyond reality in order to create a collage. Come tell a story through collaging techniques and let your creativity flourish! All materials will be provided. This is a free event for teens, ages 13-19. Registration is required.
