Directed by Henry Selick (James and the Giant Peach), the film follows the earnest-but-misguided adventures of Jack Skellington, Halloween Town’s beloved Pumpkin King. Bored with the same old scare-and-scream routine of Halloween, Jack longs to try something new. Convinced that he can spread the joy of Christmas and against the advice of Sally, a caring and clever ragdoll, Jack enlists three mischievous trick-or-treaters – Lock, Shock, and Barrel – to kidnap Santa Claus. But Jack’s merry mission puts Santa in jeopardy and creates a nightmare for good little boys and girls everywhere.

This aerospace-themed program will be presented by the 99th Squadron Civil Air Patrol. Children in grades 1–5 will explore the basics of flight and aerodynamics as they design, build, and test their own paper airplanes. Registration is required for this special event.

Explore repujado, the traditional art of metal embossing, in this hands-on workshop led by visiting artist, Linda Garcia. Participants will learn how to create beautiful raised designs on soft metal using simple tools and techniques and create their own unique piece to take home. This is a free event for teens 13-18. Grab your treat bags and bring the whole family to Junk in the Trunk 2026, a FREE afternoon of candy, decorated trunks, music, games, food, and plenty of fun! Bridge Church is excited to return to Conestoga Elementary for one of our favorite community traditions. Families can make their way through a parking lot full of creatively decorated trunks, collect plenty of treats, enjoy activities throughout the afternoon, and simply have a great time together.

Families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of Halloween fun as local businesses set up along the trail to hand out candy, swag and more! Participating businesses will each have a 10x10 space for a table and tent, and vendors are encouraged to get creative with decorated booths and activities or games for kids.

Join on Saturday, October 24th at 5 PM for our 6th Annual Trunk or Treat! This is a family friendly event with food, bounce houses, live animals, lots of candy, and more! They are so excited to see you all there and in costume to have a safe night of fun, excitement, and sugar.
Trunk-or-Treating for Non-Food Items. ALL KIDS ARE INVITED for some healthy, Halloween fun! Food-allergy kids are often left out of Halloween festivities because they can't eat candy collected trick-or-treating. This is a food-allergy friendly event so that ALL KIDS can have fun trunk-or-treating for non-food items like stickers, tattoos, and other trinkets in lieu of candy.
Join in the mischief, mayhem, and murder at our Halloween Costume Murder Mystery Party! Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite costume, with prizes awarded for the best-dressed characters. Costumes and props will also be available. Each participant will receive a character packet and objectives to mingle, gather clues, and solve the murder. Guests can also self-guide through the mansion, decorated for our Vintage Halloween Celebration.

Film Streams’ free outdoor movie series, Film Streams on the Green, is returning to North Downtown Omaha this summer and fall at Sonny's Builders District. On select Monday evenings July through October, moviegoers are invited to eat, drink and play movie trivia while enjoying a line-up of family favorites, cult classics and big-screen blockbusters. Each screening will begin at 7 pm.
