Get ready to soak up the sun and feel the rhythm at the Summer Vibes Concert Series, your weekly dose of live music, good vibes, and unforgettable summer nights! Join us on select Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm for an exciting lineup of local and regional talent—featuring everything from rock and pop to funk and soul. Vibes concerts are located in the Village Pointe Amphitheater. Bring your lawn chairs, grab your favorite treats from a variety of Village Pointe restaurants, and gather your crew for this FREE outdoor concert series that’s perfect for all ages! Seating is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. Seating area opens up at 4pm day of concert.
Movie Nights are a cherished tradition in the Highlander neighborhood, held on the lawn of the Highlander Accelerator. Everyone is welcome to this outdoor cinematic experience. This free event presents a family-friendly film suitable for all ages. Bring your blankets, chairs, and snacks for a cozy night. Free treats for the first 90 guests! (And available for purchase for additional guests) Lawn opens at 8, movie starts at 9.
Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.
Omaha Art Fair is a vibrant and diverse art fair located at Aksarben Village in Omaha, NE. Over 150 talented artists, from across the country, showcase their work to visitors who can explore a wide range of artistic styles and mediums. With free kids activities, festival food favorites and music all day, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Three days filled with a variety of fun activities for all ages in Springfield, NE, just a short drive from the Omaha and Lincoln areas. Friday evening's events begin at 5pm with a food, games, and entertainment. Saturday's highlights include 5K run/walk, pancake feed, corn hole tournament, kids foam party, parades, rubber duck race, food trucks, games, street dance with a live band, beer garden, fireworks show & more! We'll start off Sunday with an outdoor worship service along with refreshments, fun games, and activities. Prepare for a fantastic time!
The College World Series (CWS) is the culminating championship tournament of NCAA Division I baseball, held each June in Omaha, Nebraska. Featuring the final eight teams standing from a 64-team bracket, the CWS combines elite competition with a festive atmosphere, making it one of college sports’ most cherished traditions. The teams compete in a double-elimination format, culminating in a best-of-three finals to crown the national champion
College baseball’s biggest celebration has lived in Omaha since 1950. Charles Schwab Field hosts this convergence of colors, pageantry and excitement. Downtown Omaha becomes a bustling hub, and the June atmosphere is just as much of a treat as the on-field action.

Training will include a babysitting guidebook, basic first aid, and age-appropriate practices for caring for infants, preschoolers, toddlers, and school age youth. The clinic is taught by Nebraska 4-H Extension staff. This is a free program for ages 11 and up. Registration is required

Soccer Shots is bringing the fun to The RiverFront with a free, 30 minute soccer experience for children ages 2 to 5. Kids will run, play, and explore through exciting games while building confidence and learning basic soccer skills in a fun, positive, and energetic environment.

This June, as Omaha welcomes baseball fans from across the country, step underground for a haunted experience that brings a different kind of thrill. Enter the warehouse through an old unlocked door and descend into a dark stairwell hidden beneath the streets of Downtown Omaha. Down below, strange sounds echo through the halls, shadows move when they shouldn’t, and every turn keeps you guessing. It’s the perfect mix of creepy fun, suspense, and late-night adrenaline during Omaha’s biggest season. Located in the basement dungeon of Hollywood Candy.
Saturday mornings belong to the kids. Heartwood Kids Club is a free weekly program filled with hands-on fun designed especially for children ages 4–8. Activities can include crafts, demonstrations, creative projects or interactive experiences each week brings a new surprise. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, so the whole family can enjoy a playful start to the weekend together. Happening every Saturday morning June 13th through September.

In this hands-on musical experience inspired by Dinosaurumpus!, kids become the musicians as they explore the many ways percussion instruments make sound—shaking, scraping, and striking along with the story. Guided by a staff member from the Omaha Symphony, young participants will stomp, chomp, and make music together while discovering how rhythm brings this dino-filled tale to life.
Calling all gamers! Have a blast learning how to code while building robotic games to test your code. You will learn about sequencing commands, value and sensor inputs, and loops. This month you will create a racecar. Registration is required
Get ready to be a scientist AND an artist! In this workshop, you’ll meet a special soil bacteria called Streptomyces that makes a super cool color-changing pigment. Your mission? Use water and a set of tools to figure out how to pull the color out of the bacteria’s jelly-like home. Once you’ve cracked the code, the real fun begins! You’ll mix and experiment in test tubes to see the color shift and change right before your eyes. Then you’ll use your very own “bacteria ink” to paint a one-of-a-kind masterpiece to take home.

Instructor Shawnequa Linder will introduce surrealism and encourage teens to use their imaginations to go beyond reality in order to create a collage. Come tell a story through collaging techniques and let your creativity flourish! All materials will be provided. This is a free event for teens, ages 13-19. Registration is required.
