Join for a spooktacular evening of Halloween fun at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center! Bring your little ghosts and goblins for safe, indoor trick-or-treating throughout the building. Explore art-filled halls and collect candy throughout the building. Costumes encouraged—creativity celebrated!

Baseballoween presented by Scheels returns to Werner Park for the 14th straight year! As usual, the event is free and family-friendly, as the Werner Park gates open for the Omaha Metro to celebrate a fun-filled night at the stadium! The event will feature trick-or-treating, activity stations, and a family-friendly movie on the videoboard! They will be collecting donations for Food Bank for the Heartland upon entry to Baseballoween. Donations are encouraged but not mandatory.
Join for a special night of trick-or-treating on the farm at our Barnyard Boo! It’s the last Friday of the season, which means it’s also your final chance to enjoy Flannel Friday! Don’t miss this fun-filled evening to celebrate fall, grab some candy, and make memories on the farm before the season ends!

This free, family-friendly event is packed with Halloween fun—enjoy candy, glow sticks, circus acts, character meet and greets and more. Roller Skates are available for rent at $5 for Adults and $4 for Youth.

Movie Nights at the Orchard! Grab your chair, blanket & pillow and get comfy as the movie starts at dusk. No outside food/drink, but don’t worry—we’ll be open inside with all the goodies!

Gates Open: 6:30 pm - Movie Starts at 7:30 pm. Admission: $5 park passes for each guest, plus firepit rental or campsite rentals.

This season marks the 34th year of Hitchcock HawkWatch, and you're invited to learn more about their important conservation work! Swing by the Loess Hills Lodge gallery from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. any Saturday in October to learn more about what their research is uncovering in our gallery displays, enjoy refreshments including lemonade and cookies, and see what raptors are passing through atop the park's 45-foot observation tower.

The festivities will be held in the North Parking lot from 11:00 am-4:00 p.m., where the will be TREATS a plenty and Trunks up and decorated for the occasion!!! Bring a can good to support our community!
Come and create a spooky canvas that glows! You’ll be given a black canvas to decorate using phosphorescent paint and stencils. Your final creation will glow-in-the-dark! Paint your canvas as you share about your own paranormal experiences or listen as staff share a spooky story. This is a free event for kids 8-12. All supplies are included and are while supplies last. Registration is required

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in a play? Now’s your chance to learn! The Circle Theatre will bring part of the cast of “Momotaro: the Peach Boy of Japan” to share what it’s like to put on a play. They’ll perform a scene from the play, teach us a traditional Japanese dance, and help us create a Japanese bunraku puppet so that we can be part of the action, too. This is a free event for families with children ages 5 and older and does not require registration.
You'll see the changing forest in a whole new light after this Halloween hike! Take part and examine how folklore can deepen your relationship with the forest and prairie. Learn about the plant, animal, and mineral communities of the Loess Hills and their significance in the seasonal folklore associated with Halloween. If time allows, we'll return to the lodge for a demonstration of some of the items and techniques discussed on the hike.
Make deliciously ghoulish popcorn balls with marshmallow and Jello! This event is open to patrons in the 6th-12th grades while supplies last.
Make a Bigfoot silhouette and paper-doll style costumes to put on him.
