Join instructor Alexis Espinoza-Arrubla as she leads a workshop on yoga and mindfulness for kids! This workshop offers a fun, engaging way for children and their caregivers to build body awareness, practice self-regulation skills and enhance overall well-being through practices such as yoga, mindful movement, games, relaxation techniques and arts + crafts. Limited yoga mats will be available, however, participants are encouraged to bring their own yoga mat or blanket.

Excitement is building for the 60th Anniversary Omaha Home & Garden Expo to be held Friday, February 27th through Sunday, March 1st at the CHI Health Center, 10th Street & Capitol Ave. The Omaha Home & Garden Expo has been an Annual Family Tradition since 1967. This year’s Show has become the area’s Most Complete showcase of the latest products and services for the Home – Inside and Out!

Join for Sensory Storytime! This storytime is designed for children with and without autism and other developmental disabilities. There will be visuals showing what to expect, a book or two, songs, and other play items. This is meant to be a quieter storytime than our weekly Toddler and ABC storytimes. Registration is required. Join on the first Thursday of the month for a special craft your little one can do with a Papillion Police Officer. Crafts will take place in the Youth Area. This month's craft project: Rainbow Tambourines

You'll be putting together multiple puzzles in a 2ish hour time frame. The fastest team (cumulative time) will win the top prize. Each team will be a team of up to 4 people. Every team will be doing the SAME puzzles, but how fast is up to you and how well you work together. Some people work better in a small group, and others work better in a big group. In this creative workshop, participants will use a instant camera to take pictures (and/or bring their own pictures!) and turn them into colorful scrapbook pages using paper, stickers, letters, and more. In this hands-on biodesign activity, visitors ages 8 and up will explore the fascinating world of biodegradable polymers derived from seaweed. Using alginate, a natural polymer found in large brown algae like kelp, participants mix a custom algae gel and transform it into colorful, squishy strings through a chemical reaction in a calcium bath.

Using a handheld blacklight, educators from Nebraska Wildlife Rehab will help uncover the science of biofluorescence with a unique presentation and hands-on glowing experiments! This is a free event for Teens 13+. Registration is encouraged.
