Get ready for a new winter celebration at Wildlife Safari Park! This festive, family-friendly program combines our two favorite things: nature and the magic of the holiday season. Bundle up and enjoy a stroll through our trails, nature-inspired holiday crafts, and so much more! Two sessions are available: 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1-4 p.m.
The Annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, December 6th-7th, at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs. The hours of the show are from 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Admission is $6 and children 10 and younger are free. Parking is free throughout the show. All patrons who attend the show on Saturday will receive a two-day re-entry stamp.

Join for the HOLLY JOLLIEST fun run in the La Vista City Centre! Fun for all ages and “running” abilities. Be ready to suit up in your provided holiday gear and conquer the obstacles set by the North Pole elves. Total distance for this fun run is a 2k. Adults: $25, Children (3-13): $10, Children 2 & Under: Free
Join OPL at The Joslyn for storytime, featuring stories, creative movement, music and exploration of a piece of art. Storytime is geared toward preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. This Storytime is part of The Joslyn's monthly Art-tastic Saturdays.
In this interactive workshop, you will explore the fascinating science of bioluminescence—the natural ability of organisms to produce light! Participants will create their own glowing reactions using safe household materials, discover real-life bioluminescent organisms, and unleash their creativity by designing unique glowing deep-sea creatures. Event is FREE with the cost of daily admission (or Membership) though early registration is required.
2nd Annual Downtown Papillion Cookie Crawl—a festive tradition that’s quickly becoming a local favorite! Last year, over 200 cookie lovers joined in the fun, collecting mouthwatering treats from small businesses all around town. This year, they're turning up the holiday cheer with 15 local shops teaming up with 15 incredible cookie creators. That’s 15 chances to indulge your sweet tooth while supporting local! Holiday shopping to do? Shop local this holiday season and enjoy flash sales during our Winter Wine Walk. This is a sip and shop event where participants get to sample select wines from Corkscrew Wine & Cheese while enjoying snacks at each store and special holiday flash sales! Show your ID at ANY of the participating stores to get your wristband. This event is FREE. Must be 21 to participate.

At 2:00 pm, gather in the theater for a special reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas. The 501st Legion (Star Wars characters) will be making appearances throughout the day, and our Maker’s Market will feature unique gifts from local creators. Kids can write letters or color pictures for Santa before delivering them in person.
Let’s wrap up the year in style at the 15th Annual Christmas in the Village at 24th & Lake! From festive music to family-friendly activities and local vendors, this is your chance to soak in the holiday cheer with the whole community.
'Tis the season to be jolly, Bellevue Berry Farm would love to invite you all to enjoy our Country Christmas event. Please join the City of Gretna for our annual Handmade Holiday Market in conjunction with Greenery and Glitter in Downtown Gretna on McKenna Ave. This event will take place in the old Fire Department Building right next to City Hall.
Grab a friend, partner, family member or work alone while creating a Christmas Winter Diorama. Using a box, mini figures, craft material and lots of imagination, participants will build their own winter wonderland or holiday scene to take home. Whether it’s Santa’s workshop, a cozy snowy village or a gingerbread house scene, let your imagination come to life. All supplies are provided, or participants can bring their own items to add to the diorama. This program is ideal for participants to work in pairs (parent-child, siblings, friends), but you may work alone. *Registration is required and space is limited. There is a nonrefundable material fee of $10 per diorama. Stop by the Library to get registered.
Please join the City of Gretna for our annual holiday event, Greenery and Glitter, located in downtown Gretna on McKenna Ave and at Peterson Park. This years theme is "Candy Cane Lane". From 12pm-4pm There will be a wide variety of activities located at different businesses on McKenna Ave, we encourage you to visit all the shops on the map to participate in their activity and have some holiday fun! Some activities do not start until 1pm, those times will be listed so you can better plan. From 4pm-6pm at Peterson Park we will have even more activities for everyone to enjoy! Entertainment, soup, hot dogs, hot cider, hot cocoa and a tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Evans + MORE!

Join Omaha Symphony musician Rosario Galante as he introduces the fun music the clarinet can make during this playful reading of "Kitten's First Full Moon" by Kevin Henkes. Designed for kids ages 3-5, this storytime is fun for friends of all ages with some support by their adults.
