Perseids Night Sky Event
Crescent Hill at Hitchcock (Previously Mt. Crescent Ski Area) 17026 Snowhill Ln, Honey Creek, IATake in the beauty of the annual Perseid Meteor Shower and explore the wonders to be found in the night sky at Crescent Hill at Hitchcock! On Friday, August 14th, the park will stay open until midnight so visitors can view the night sky away from city lights. Visitors are welcome to bring lawn chairs, blankets, binoculars, and telescopes to view nature's fireworks from the ski hill area and the park's trail system. The Omaha Astronomical Society will be present with telescopes to help you get a close-up look at celestial bodies.
