All ages and ability levels are welcome at OPL’s Tabletop Time At the Library where we’ll be playing popular, modern board games like Catan, Ticket to Ride, Splendor, King of Tokyo and more! Come hang out with friends or family, learn a new game, or enjoy a group favorite at the library.
Soul, horns, and high-energy fun! Don’t miss Blue House and The Rent To Own Horns for a powerhouse performance that’ll have you grooving all night. Make the night complete with drinks and great eats from local food trucks. Show at 7 PM
Join for a blockbuster night under the stars in the Omaha’s scenic Turner Park, with WICKED on the big, BIG screen. Blankets, lawn chairs and leashed pets welcome. Please leave the following at home: tents/tarps/stakes, open flames and hard liquor. Movie starts at Dusk.
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM: Regular Foam Party - Start your night with the classic foam fun! Dive into a sea of foam, dance, and enjoy the high-energy vibes as we kick things off with a bubbly blast.
8:30 PM - 10:00 PM: Glow-in-the-Dark Foam Party - As the night heats up, the lights go down, the music goes up and the glow begins! The foam transforms into a glowing spectacle under the blacklights, creating an electric atmosphere for you to dance, splash, and party in neon style!
Event will be held in the street between Gypsy Plum and Michaels. Free Event. Wear your best neon attire!
Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.

"$5 after 5" is back, giving guests an opportunity to visit the museum after 5PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. From June 3-August 26, admission for all ages will be just $5 after 5PM on Tuesdays.

This family event is designed to facilitate a free, fun afternoon that draws families together and connects them to local agencies that are enhancing our Omaha community. Each agency will have free resources and valuable services to offer. There will be fun for all ages, carnival games, a hayrack ride, concessions and fantastic prize giveaways.

Now in its 94th year, the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival is the oldest, continuous harvest festival in Nebraska. Fun for the whole family, the 3-day event begins with the Coronation of the new King and Queen on Thursday evening. Friday includes carnival rides, Kiddie Parade, Sweetheart Awards, Pep Rally, Car Bash, Balloon Toss, and Bingo. Saturday includes Egg Toss, Chicken Chariot Race, Music & Entertainment, Cake Walk, Cow Drop contest, and the Grand Parade. Lots more to see and do the first weekend after Labor Day in September on and around Plattsmouth's Historic Main Street. Come join the fun.
