The return of St. Mark's Annual Trunk or Treat event. Bring the family and invite your friends for a great time of food, fun and CANDY! The festivities will be held in the North Parking lot from 11:00 am-4:00 p.m., where the will be TREATS a plenty and Trunks up and decorated for the occasion!!! Bring a can good to support our community!
Come and create a spooky canvas that glows! You’ll be given a black canvas to decorate using phosphorescent paint and stencils. Your final creation will glow-in-the-dark! Paint your canvas as you share about your own paranormal experiences or listen as staff share a spooky story. This is a free event for kids 8-12. All supplies are included and are while supplies last. Registration is required

JUNK IN THE TRUNK is a walk-through route of creatively decorated car trunks, each offering treats and kid-friendly fun. It’s simple, safe, and packed with smiles—perfect for families who want a lighthearted fall outing.
Bring your little witchlings and warlocks for an afternoon of magical fun! Expect spellbinding games, whimsical crafts, Kids Costume Parade at 2:00 PM on 61st (a family highlight not the main event by Edge of the Universe Cafe currently in Halloween Theme), and sweet treats for the whole coven. Perfect for witches and wizards of all ages!
As twilight falls, the enchantment deepens. Stroll through Benson’s moonlit streets in your witchiest wear and enjoy exclusive deals, discounts, and delights from our participating businesses, plus more than 20 street vendors offering potions, pastries, crystals, art, and other mystical treasures.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be in a play? Now’s your chance to learn! The Circle Theatre will bring part of the cast of “Momotaro: the Peach Boy of Japan” to share what it’s like to put on a play. They’ll perform a scene from the play, teach us a traditional Japanese dance, and help us create a Japanese bunraku puppet so that we can be part of the action, too. This is a free event for families with children ages 5 and older and does not require registration.
You'll see the changing forest in a whole new light after this Halloween hike! Take part and examine how folklore can deepen your relationship with the forest and prairie. Learn about the plant, animal, and mineral communities of the Loess Hills and their significance in the seasonal folklore associated with Halloween. If time allows, we'll return to the lodge for a demonstration of some of the items and techniques discussed on the hike.
Make deliciously ghoulish popcorn balls with marshmallow and Jello! This event is open to patrons in the 6th-12th grades while supplies last.

There’s something supernatural happening at the library, and we need your help to put the spirits to rest before time runs out! Come solve clues and puzzles based on the haunted history of Omaha, from Hummel Park to the White House Apartments to secret underground mob rings and more. Do you believe in ghosts? This is a free event for adults ages 19 and up. Registration is required and opens Sept. 15. There will be a session at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Kids are encouraged to come dressed in costumes and receive candy from neighbors up and down Underwood Ave.

Create your own dazzling keychain, magnet, or drink coaster while swapping paranormal stories with others or listening to eerie tales from our staff. No experience needed — just bring your imagination! This is a free event for teens ages 13 and up. All supplies are included and available while supplies last.
A fun community event filled with festive trunks, lots of treats, and plenty of Halloween spirit.
Attendees will enjoy an uplifting mat Pilates class led by Loft’s instructors, plus wellness freebies from local partners, and breast self-exam education from local specialists. To give back, 100% of ticket proceeds benefit Project Pink’d, an Omaha nonprofit supporting breast cancer survivors. What to Bring: A mat, water bottle, and towel.

Just in time for Halloween, experience a Ghoulish Garden Adventure at Lauritzen Gardens. Explore a variety of educational and fun activity stations throughout the garden. Learn about the mysteries of nature, get up close and personal with the amazing creatures that make the fall so festive, and make your very own crafts to take home. Activities are included with paid garden admission of $15 for adults and $9 for children 3-12. Garden members and children under the age of two are admitted free of charge.

The Bellevue Community Foundation is thrilled to announce that our annual Trick or Treat in Downtown Bellevue will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, along portions of Mission Avenue and Franklin Street. Currently, they have over 50 businesses and organizations signed up to hand out treats to Bellevue’s youth — and they hope for a great turnout of little ghosts and goblins!
