Calling all cake lovers! Join us on Saturday, November 15th for all the cake you can eat from 1:30-3:00pm. The cost is $30 per person and we will start you off with SIX slices of cake! We will have a variety of cakes for you to choose from (all cakes will contain dairy, eggs, and flour). Finish those six? Just ask for more! Come watch the annual Leonids Meteor Shower and enjoy stargazing at Neale Woods located at 14323 Edith Marie Ave. in Omaha. Our event will begin with a brief evening hike on dirt-packed trails through the prairie and forest. Then as night falls, we will watch for shooting stars together while learning about meteor showers and general astronomy from our seasoned volunteer, Bob Fuchs. The Omaha Astronomical Society will have telescopes available as well for your stargazing enjoyment.

Make something fun for Fall Holidays, but with lasers. (As usual, adults must stay with minors during class, but REALLY, the whole time. Did I mention lasers?)
Help the princess build the most comfortable mattress! After reading The Princess and the Pea, participants will have one hour to complete a challenge: create a mattress so comfy that you canât feel the âpeaâ! At the end of the program, weâll put each creation to the test and see which is the comfiest. This is a free program for kids ages 8â10. Registration is required
Join OPL and Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project for a virtual interactive session! There will be a brief presentation on the significance of the lotus flower and the Lotus Lantern Festival, a step-by-step craft session where participants create their own traditional Korean lotus lantern, and a short documentary on Korea to close the event. This craft is suitable for ages 13+ and younger participants are encouraged to complete the craft with an adult caregiver.
