STEM Tuesdays – Join each Tuesday for hands-on STEM activities that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and fun!
Get your hands messy and your creativity moving! Teens are invited to learn basic clay-working techniques while making simple pieces like pinch pots and other small creations. All supplies are provided, just bring your imagination. This is a free event for teens.

Join OPL at “Once Upon a Time at the Castle,” a storytime and wildlife adventure in the enchanted gardens. Storytime will feature stories, creative movement, music and more. After storytime, learn about the real creatures we read about through live wildlife interactions and activities. This month we will learn about insects.

In order for curious minds to bloom, it is essential to plant a love of reading at a young age. Join OPL at Lauritzen Gardens for stories that celebrate gardens, plants, insects and more, and discover the joys of nature, movement, music, and literature. Storytime is geared for preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. Lauritzen Gardens will offer free admission to families who attend this storytime.
Challenge your creative boundaries in this Art Workshop for teens! Instructor Shawnequa Linder will introduce surrealism and encourage teens to use their imaginations to go beyond reality in order to create a collage. Come tell a story through collaging techniques and let your creativity flourish! All materials will be provided. This is a free event for teens, ages 13-19. Registration is required.
Test your sleuthing skills at the library! 🕵️ Follow the clues to find hidden objects and earn stamps. Turn in a full stamp card and receive a prize! Soccer Shots is bringing the fun to The RiverFront with a free, 30 minute soccer experience for children ages 2 to 5. Kids will run, play, and explore through exciting games while building confidence and learning basic soccer skills in a fun, positive, and energetic environment.

Dundee Day began in the 1950’s as a sidewalk sale and became an official day of events in 1992. Hosted by CRCC – Connected Roots Care Center, Big Dreams is a high-energy, family-friendly festival packed with live music, hands-on fun, and community celebration. Saturday mornings belong to the kids. Heartwood Kids Club is a free weekly program filled with hands-on fun designed especially for children ages 4–8. Activities can include crafts, demonstrations, creative projects or interactive experiences each week brings a new surprise.
