In this hands-on biodesign activity, visitors ages 8 and up will explore the fascinating world of biodegradable polymers derived from seaweed. The Sports For Kids Foundation will host its 35th annual Benefit Auction & Dinner on Saturday, March 14 at the DC Centre at 11830 Stonegate Dr, Omaha, NE 68164. The event will feature over 200 items, including world-class sports memorabilia, entertainment collectibles, vacation packages and more.
Sled after dark at Crescent Hill at Hitchcock and experience an elevated twist on this favorite winter pastime. Ride the chair lift up the hill and shoot down on a zippy Zibob sled. For safety reasons, all participants must be ages 7 or older. No outside sleds allowed; Sleds are provided by the area. Pre-registration is required for this event. Lodge doors open at 5:30pm
