Each week, Quasar pairs up a local business with a local charitable cause, to present a “Classic” retro title for a “Free-to-the-Public ” event to raise awareness and support. This is a great way for your organization to educate and interact with an eager audience. Solicitation of free-will donations or mission-specific item donations can be part of pre-event, advertising co-op.

Ongoing demonstrations featuring military and civilian life of the 1820s will occur throughout the park. Reenactors portray fur traders, coopers, blacksmiths, carpenters, tinsmiths, weavers and other period trades. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the reenactors.
Join OPL at The Joslyn for storytime, featuring stories, creative movement, music and exploration of a piece of art. Storytime is geared toward preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. This Storytime is part of The Joslyn's monthly Art-tastic Saturdays.

The film profiles Cody Maverick, an up-and-coming surfer as he enters his first pro competition. He leaves his family in Antarctica to travel to Pen Gu Island for a Memorial Surf Off, believing that winning will bring him the admiration and respect he desires. In this workshop you will learn how to design and decorate do-it-yourself stickers. Use markers to experiment with layering light and dark color combinations to add details to your sticker designs. You will have so much fun making stickers in the sun that you will want to share your new DIY sticker hack with others!

Ready, aim… launch! In this hands-on Make It session, students will build their own mini catapults using popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and a few simple materials. Along the way, they'll explore basic principles of physics like tension, force, and trajectory—then put their creations to the test in friendly launch challenges. This playful project is great for curious minds who love to build, experiment, and see how far they can fling! Registration is required for this event.
"$5 after 5" is back, giving guests an opportunity to visit the museum after 5PM on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. From June 3-August 26, admission for all ages will be just $5 after 5PM on Tuesdays.
Join for Community Fishing Night at Halleck Lake! All participants ages 16 and older need a fishing license. A valid state park entry permit is also required for events at state park areas.
Popcorn Productions, LLC and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park present three melodramas this summer: “Peril of the Storm,” “Baron’s Revenge” and “Troll of Trafalgar.” Performances take place at the Denman and Mary Mallory Kountze Memorial Theatre inside the park.
