Let’s take a closer look at the Plants in the park and our Farmer’s Market finds…..fruits & veggies and any other fun treasures we discover. Through close observation (with the help of a magnifying glass) we will play with Oil Pastels, Chalk Pastels and watercolor pencils to appreciate the beauty of Nature’s design. Have you ever wondered how fossils are formed? Would you like to make one of your very own? Join for DIY Creative Studio, where we learn about and make our own fossils.

Participants will have the opportunity to create single-sheets booklets (8-page zines) taking inspiration from Nebraska wildlife, nature journaling—or coming up with their own themes. During this hands-on creative session makers will fold, cut, collage and draw. Content and writing prompts, recycled comics, ephemera, and printing stamps will be available. All puns welcome!
