  • Japanese Dance

    Join for culture, storytelling, and community with The Japanese American Citizens League-Omaha Chapter (JACL). The JACL Dance Troupe will perform multiple dances that honor Japanese dance culture. At the end of the presentation, the dancers will teach audience members “Bon-Odori,” a traditional dance used in community gatherings to honor and memorialize ancestors.

All are welcome to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m., which will include opening remarks. Doors will open at 12 p.m., but all visitors will be sequestered to the first floor of the building until after the opening ceremony.
