Ready to run your heart out? Join us for the annual Couple Shuffle 5k/10k! Whether you’re sprinting with your sweetheart or racing solo, this Valentine themed race promises a heart-pounding good time. Enjoy a course sprinkled with fun photo ops, and a finish line filled with sweet treats and high-fives. Fun for the whole family! Registration fees include: Short Sleeve T-shirt, Medal, Bib & Timing Chip and Refreshment. Kids Dash Youth (12 & Under), 2 Mile, 5K & 10K

Register in person. Arrive anytime between 6 – 7:45 p.m. and compete on a first-come, first -served basis. Pick a time that fits your schedule. Ages: Boys & Girls 3rd - 8th grade
Each participant will compete in three challenges:
- Hot Shot
- 3-point
- Free Throw Contest
Winners will be awarded for each challenge and an overall winner for each age division. Winners will be notified the next day by email.

Join on April 19, 2025 as they return to the streets of downtown Omaha. The 2025 Nebraska Half starts and finishes at the spectacular Gene Leahy Mall and winds through the downtown Omaha streets, across the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge into Iowa and back to finish at The Gene Leahy Mall. The Kids Run is open to kids ages 13 and under. This event will start at 10:30 am and all participants will receive a Finisher Medal.

8th Annual Youth Triathlon. Kids will have fun in this recreational backwards triathlon running, biking, and swimming. Register between March 3rd - April 4th. Space is limited.

Family Funday - Airbrush Tattoos: Fun for the whole fam, featuring airbrush tattoos. Kids Run The Bases - Kids 12 and under are invited to run the bases after the game.

The College World Series (CWS) is the culminating championship tournament of NCAA Division I baseball, held each June in Omaha, Nebraska. Featuring the final eight teams standing from a 64-team bracket, the CWS combines elite competition with a festive atmosphere, making it one of college sports’ most cherished traditions. The teams compete in a double-elimination format, culminating in a best-of-three finals to crown the national champion

It’s back! The Omaha Sports Commission and the Council Bluffs CVB are hosting the 2025 US Open for Badminton at the Mid-America Center. Join us in watching these spectacular athletes some of which competed in the 2024 Olympic Games!

Head to Hummel for a muddy 1 mile fun run through the trails and mud obstacle course. Check in at the pavilion at the north end of the park on Ponca Rd. The cost is $15/child, includes t-shirt.

"Cops vs Cancer Fun Run" will bring together law enforcement and the community to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research and support programs as part of the Pink Patch Project. Participants can join in the run or walk, with registration fees, sponsorships, and donations going towards this vital cause. The involvement of law enforcement adds a special touch, demonstrating their commitment to supporting health initiatives in addition to their regular duties. These events foster a sense of unity and purpose, creating a positive atmosphere where everyone can contribute to making a difference while promoting fitness and well-being.

The MAHA (Multiple Sclerosis at Home Access) Program at the University of Nebraska Medical Center will be hosting the 3rd Annual ‘MS Strong’ Community race event with proceeds being utilized to directly empower people living with MS and other demyelinating diseases with disability in our community. Race will include a fun run/walk/roll 5K and 10K run to ensure that regardless of ability people can participate. Event will include food trucks, DJ, and other family fun activities.

The race begins inside Stinson Park and then gets onto the flat & fast Keystone Trail system for an out-and-back loop. Half Marathon, 10K, 5K.

Join for the 9th annual Omaha Turkey Trot presented by All Community Events! Kids Dash and 5K

Hitchcock Nature Center is proud to host another amazing Hitchcock Experience Endurance Run, presented by the Greater Omaha Area Trail-Runnerz. Runners will descend upon the park on December 6th and 7th to participate in a half-marathon, 101K, 50-mile, or 100-mile endurance run through the picturesque Loess Hills. 

Doors open 60 minutes before the start of the first game and will remain open between. No re-entry allowed. Women’s: Omaha Queens vs Iowa Raptors – 5pm. Men’s: Omaha Kings vs Iowa Raptors – 7pm

As part of the organization’s community appreciation initiative, teachers and healthcare workers will receive free entry with valid work credentials at the arena. Heat the Streets Run & Walk for Warmth offers participants the opportunity to register for a timed 5K run, timed 10K run or untimed two-mile walk. They also offer a virtual option if you're unable to join in person.

Arrowhead Trail Run is a 5k marked course at Arrowhead Park.  Choose the traditional 5k distance, 2 laps for a 10k, or complete as many laps as you can in a 4 hour Enduro!  Medals will be awarded for the top 10 males and females in the 5k, 10k and 4 Hour Enduro event categories.  ALL are welcome to run, jog, walk or hike at your own pace.

Cost: $20/child.  Kids in 1st-6th grade will have fun running, biking, and swimming in this backwards event! Registration begins Monday, March 2nd
