Gretna Days Fireworks Show
Join for another great Gretna Days Fireworks Show by Gretna’s own Peters Pyrotechnic Productions! Time is Approximate! Join us before fireworks for movie nite in the football stadium, or come later to view fireworks show from the stadium.
Carter Lake’s Annual Parade & Festival on July 25th for a full day of fun, community, and celebration! The parade kicks off at 11 AM, followed by the festival, kids zone, and vendor fair starting at 12 PM. Enjoy the beer garden at 1 PM, live music at 4 PM, and end the night with fireworks at 10 PM.

The 2026 Sarpy County Fair is July 29 through Aug. 2 at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds in Springfield, Neb. The fair includes Truck & Tractor Pull, Bull Riding, the rodeo, live music, 4-H, and more!

Welcome to the St. Stanislaus Catholic Church neighborhood at 41st & J Streets from noon-7pm on Sunday August 16 for the church's annual Polish Festival, a perennial "Best of Omaha" winner. Dundee Day began in the 1950’s as a sidewalk sale and became an official day of events in 1992. Over the years, the event has included a ‘prettiest baby’ contest, appearances by local artists such as cartoonist Jeffrey Koterba, and the celebrated relocation of the Dundee Dell from Dodge Street to Underwood Avenue. Today, presented by Dundee Bank and Dundee Pediatrics, this family-friendly street festival celebrates and highlights the Dundee neighborhood with a parade, 5k run, art and craft vendors, book sale, pancake breakfast, food trucks, live music, live art drawing, and beer garden.

If you're looking for something fun to do next Monday, come out and join us and hundreds of our union brothers and sisters at the Omaha Labor Day Parade!!! It's next Monday, September 7, with the parade kicking off downtown at 10 a.m. The parade route winds through the city’s historic core, beginning at 16th and Cass Streets, heading south to Capitol Avenue, east to 10th Street, north to Mike Fahey Street, and west before concluding at 12th and Cass.
Now in its 95th year, the Plattsmouth Harvest Festival is the oldest, continuous harvest festival in Nebraska. Fun for the whole family, the 3-day event begins with the Coronation of the new King and Queen on Thursday evening. Friday includes Bingo, Car Bash, Band & Kiddie Parade. Saturday includes Grand Parade, Bingo, Chicken Races. Lots more to see and do the first weekend after Labor Day in September on and around Plattsmouth's Historic Main Street. Come join the fun.
