In this workshop you will learn how to design and decorate do-it-yourself stickers. Use markers to experiment with layering light and dark color combinations to add details to your sticker designs. You will have so much fun making stickers in the sun that you will want to share your new DIY sticker hack with others!
In this workshop you will explore the use of various materials, colors and drawing techniques to create a bookmark. Choose a word or phrase that sparks inspiration and ignites imagination as you make your mark on the world through art. This workshop is a drop-in style workshop. Seats are limited and are first come first serve. Location: Arrival Plaza at The RiverFront Park. The workshop will take place near the entrance of the Kiewit Luminarium
Learn to paint the beautiful Nebraska native pollinator flowers that are sprinkled throughout the RiverFront park. While painting you will learn basic water techniques such as: controlling water (wet on wet, wet on dry), blending, and how to paint from observation. Overall, we will have fun, unwind, and enjoy native pollinator flowers. All levels welcome. No experience necessary. This workshop is a drop-in style workshop. Let’s take a closer look at the Plants in the park and our Farmer’s Market finds…..fruits & veggies and any other fun treasures we discover. The Rockbrook Village Art Fair is a two-day outdoor juried art fair in Omaha, Nebraska on September 6 & 7, 2025. The art fair hosts 120 artists from around the country and attracts over 40,000 visitors from across the Midwest. The fair strives to celebrate creativity through a variety of mediums and activities, delighting both exhibitors and attendees.

Are you ready for the winter holidays? Get photos taken for free to send to family or friends! We'll have the green screen backdrop set up in the second floor of the library to take photos and then Photoshop it onto a winter background. *Note: Do not wear green.
Grab a friend, partner, family member or work alone while creating a Christmas Winter Diorama. Using a box, mini figures, craft material and lots of imagination, participants will build their own winter wonderland or holiday scene to take home. Whether it’s Santa’s workshop, a cozy snowy village or a gingerbread house scene, let your imagination come to life. All supplies are provided, or participants can bring their own items to add to the diorama. This program is ideal for participants to work in pairs (parent-child, siblings, friends), but you may work alone. *Registration is required and space is limited. All supplies included. Create a charming trinket using modeling clay and bring it to life with decorative scraps of napkins, paper, and other mixed media elements. In this workshop you will learn how to make butterflies out of cardboard tubes and flowers out of cardboard egg cartons. I will guide you through the steps on how to fold, cut and glue until your butterflies emerge and your flowers bloom into reality. You can then use markers to decorate and design your cardboard creations. When you are all done you can glue on a magnet or mini clothes pin so you can display your creation as you please.
