The highly anticipated Rainbow will be opening this weekend at The Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts! This summer, Michael Jones McKean’s The Rainbow: Certain Principles of Light and Shapes Between Forms will use sunlight and rainwater to produce a rainbow in the sky above the Bemis Center.
The Rainbow’s Opening is this weekend, June 22nd and June 23rd, and will include a public tour, panel discussion, and opening reception. The rainbow will then be displayed twice daily this summer, depending on weather conditions. For more information on the schedule of upcoming rainbows (scheduled 24 hours in advance), visit www.therainbow.org or the Bemis Center Facebook page.
