The Aquarium opens today at the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo beginning at 10:30am. From April 6-15, Zoo members can get in for a special sneak peek at 8am as part of their Member Mornings! It opens at 9am for all other visitors. They have recently changed their name to Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, and if you have purchased a Zoo membership, it includes the Aquarium. I cannot wait to see it!

With my daughter’s birthday coming up, I am always sentimental about all of the past joys and milestones that we have experienced, yet very excited for the future and what lies ahead in her young life. I feel so blessed to be a Mom, her Mom, and be able to journey with her as she grows, learns, and discovers this world we live in. I am excited for all of the new skills and abilities she is going to develop, and how her little personality will continue to show. One of my favorite things to do is to look back at pictures from previous years to see how she has changed so much in such a little time, and am always amazed how this happens right before our eyes.
A few months ago, I asked my sister-in-law what her favorite age is with her kids, and she replied, “Whatever age they are in!” I loved this, especially because we catch ourselves saying, “I can’t wait until she can do this. It will be so fun when we can do this as a family.” This is a perfect reminder for us to enjoy the moment our kids are in, celebrate as they grow and change, and one day, look back and know that each age was the perfect age!

The Omaha Zoo’s Wildlife Safari Park is now open! Remember, you can add a Season Pass to your Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo Membership for only $25!
The discounted zoo membership prices have also been extended until April 8th, and the newly renovated Aquarium opens April 5th!

This is the last week to get a discounted membership to the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo (price increases April 2nd). This includes FREE zoo admission, FREE Imax admission, discounted admission to the Wildlife Safari Park, and reciprocal privileges to over 100 zoos nationwide (perfect for vacation!). Also, new this year, you can add on a Season Pass to the Wildlife Safari Park for only $20 (increases to $25 after April 1st). This pays for itself in one visit with a family of four!
And, as an added bonus – the newly renovated Aquarium opens April 5th AND there is a new baby Zebra!

Lowe’s offers FREE Build and Grow clinics every other Saturday at 10am. Bring the kids to any Lowe’s store to build fun projects. This is recommended for children in grades 1st-5th. The upcoming activities are:
