FREE Admission to Children at Omaha Zoo this Weekend – Dec. 23-24, 2017
- FREE Zoo admission to children (ages 11 and under), on Saturday, Dec. 23 and Sunday, Dec. 24! Each adult visitor with paid admission can admit up to six children for free.
See Holiday Model Trains at the Union Pacific Museum
- In addition to the newest exhibit in the building, “Working on the Railroad,” having an O-scale model train built into the exhibit, Holiday model trains will be available during open museum hours, Thursday-Saturday 10 – 4 p.m. beginning on December 16 and ending on December 30.

Gingerbread House Display at the Mormon Trail Center and Kanesville Tabernacle – Nov. 18 – Dec. 31, 2017 (10 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
- One of our favorite Christmas traditions is seeing the intricately designed Gingerbread Houses. They also have a fun Scavenger Hunt at each location with a picture option for the younger children.
- The center closes at 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve. The center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
