LEGO® Brick Sculpture Invitational at Lauritzen Gardens – Feb. 18
- See a variety LEGO® brick sculptures created by area participants of all ages, along with Nature Connects: Art With LEGO® Bricks Exhibit. (Deadline has passed to participate in the event, but guests can visit and view all of the creations.) Regular garden admission applies to see the exhibit.
Nebraska Robotics Expo 2017 at SAC Aerospace Museum – Feb. 18
- Over 800 K-12 Nebraska students, team leaders and math and science teachers will gather for this extraordinary robotics event that brings together two robotics competitions, the CEENBoT Robotics Showcase and FIRST LEGO League (FLL), and the Creative Visual Arts Expo for a day of robotics inspiration.
- “The public is invited to play as well,” explains Alisa Gilmore, Nebraska Robotics Expo & CEENBoT Robotics Showcase Director. “One of the highlights of our event is the CEENBoT Games. The young as well as the young at heart are encouraged to participate in activities such as CEENBoT Tae Kwon Do, Minute to Win It, Driving Maze, Bumpbot Mode, Precision Driving, and more.”
- The expo is included with admission to the Museum. $1.00 off simulator rides during Robotics Expo, Feb. 18 ONLY (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Union Pacific Celebrates Black History Month – Feb. 18 (1 – 3 p.m.), FREE
- Union Pacific Museum is partnering with UP’s BEN (Black Employee Network) to celebrate Black History Month. During the event, BEN members will host “stations” throughout the museum, allowing visitors to experience the unique history of the American Negro Baseball League. The Great Plains Black History Museum is a special partner for the event and will bring artifacts and information on the metro area’s involvement in the League.

President’s Day at the Omaha Children’s Museum – Feb. 20 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
